From Oban or Lochgilphead take the A816, which is also called the "scenic route"
- Travelling from Oban, West Barravullin is 6 miles further south than Kilmelford
- You will pass Croabh Haven road end - continue for another mile, remain on the A816
- The road starts to go up hill and gets bendy. West Barravullin is on your left, just before the conifer trees begin.
- Travelling from Lochgilphead, West Barravullin is 2 miles further north along the A816 after the Ardfern road end.
- You will start to see conifers growing on the right hand side of the road. The turn off to West Barravullin is where the conifers end.
