Shepherd’s Rest Cottage Banavie is a 3 bedroom architect designed self-catering holiday house near the Caledonian Canal with ramp access and wet room. It has good access and facilities for impaired mobility. The house is fully double glazed, under floor oil heating with radiators upstairs, supplemented by a wood burning stove in the living room with initial supply of logs supplied.

Sleeping 6 people, Shepherd’s Rest is nestled between the River Lochy and the famous Caledonian Canal. Situated at Torcastle the property is accessed through a tunnel (suitable for up to standard Transit van sized vehicles) under the Caledonian Canal bringing you to tranquil Torcastle, which feels like a world on its own.

Ground Floor 
KITCHEN: modern & well equipped with solid oak floors, dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and grill with Calor gas 4 ringed hob, microwave, fridge freezer, etc.
DINING ROOM / LOUNGE: open plan with wooden floors throughout, oak furniture and ample seating with views of the mountains, leather sofas, wood burning stove, TV, DVD, Free Sat, Hi-Fi with CD, radio and ipod docking station, dining table seating 6.
BEDROOM: Super King Zip Lock bed that can be changed in to 2 single beds.
WET ROOM: ample sized room adjacent to the bedroom with toilet, sink, shower.
First Floor
MASTER BEDROOM with King size bed,  TV etc 
TWIN BEDROOM with two single beds
BATHROOM - Jack and Jill style adjoining both bedrooms with bath, toilet, sink, large shower
Outside
• Enclosed garden for children and dogs, with table and chair
• Shared 5-acre woodland grounds
• Access to the canal bank and River Lochy
• Parking area with ample space for up to 3 cars.
• Safe storage of mountain bikes can be arranged.
Membership included to local Fort William leisure club comprising pool, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

NB: Pets are welcome with prior permission.

The property is no smoking, though we do provide a bin for smoking outside.

High chair, cot and fire guard available on request.
