Horse Riding
We have a good relationship with the Velvet Path Trekking And Riding Centre in Innellan. Riders of all abilities can stay at the Osborne and ride horses , fully supervised , in breathtaking scenery – just a stone throw away in the village. The Hotel can arrange riding for you.

Golf
This area is great for golfers too! Behind the Hotel and only a few minutes walk away is Innellan Golf Course. This nine hole golf course is set amongst some of the most picturesque scenery in Scotland. There is also Cowal Golf Course (18 hole) nearby which offers a stiff challenge. Scotland is ‘The Home Of Golf ’ and some of the west coast courses are world famous championship courses yet most of the fairways close to this hotel will take your breath away.

Walking & Cycling
The Osborne Hotel is a great base for walkers and cyclists. The Argyll National Park starts just outside Dunoon and even walks and cycle rides from outside the Hotel will take in lovely views of Arran , the Cumbrae islands and Bute. The magnificent 120 acre Benmore Botanic Garden (just 20 mins. drive away ) with its 300 species of rhododendron and avenue of Giant Redwoods is also a must see walk around attraction!

Quad biking & clay shooting
For those of you seeking speed and adventure – look no further!! Quad biking and clay target shooting in dramatic and unspoilt high terrain / woodland can also be arranged for you at the Osborne Hotel through. Quad Mania takes place near Dunoon. This is serious family fun!
