Kilmelford is situated on the A816, 15 miles south of Oban and 20 miles north of Lochgilphead.
If coming from Oban, take the A816 to Kilmelford. ½ mile after passing the Kilmelford Hotel and Post Office in the village centre, turn right on to the road that runs alongside Loch Melfort (Signposted Melfort and Degnish).
After 1¼ miles you will see a row of white cottages on the right, just before the bridge over the River Oude. Turn right along the farm track immediately beside these cottages (look for B&B sign) and travel 50 metres to Fearnach House.
From Lochgilphead on the A816 look out for the blue sign for Kilmelford Yacht Haven; turn left on to the Melfort / Degnish road ¼ mile beyond this.
It is possible to park in the drive right outside the house.
