The Whitehouse is a traditional farmhouse offering self catering accommodation on Tiree for up to 9 people. Recently modernised, this Tiree holiday home sits in fields next to a rocky shoreline with sea views in 3 out of 4 directions.

The nearest beach is about 400 metres away. The house is off the main road circuit so is very quiet with one other house and some farm buildings as its only close neighbours.

The house is luxurious for six with 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (upstairs is a freestanding bath with views across fields, sea, beach and mountains;) as many as nine may be comfortably accommodated by either more than 2 in a bedroom or using the second living room as a 4th double bedroom (use sofabed or separate futon style bed bases and mattresses.) There is still plenty of living space if you do this. Spectacular dining room, separate kitchen diner, and 2 very comfortable living rooms with solid fuel stoves, TVs, DVD players, i-pod docking station/stereo. Garage, utility room, large porch, large hall entrance hall and heaps of storage space help keep the main living and sleeping areas clear. Several of the rooms have numerous windows making it very bright. The garden allows for sheltered sunning, barbeques and dining - outdoor table, chairs and benches. Outside school holidays it is reasonably economical for small parties or couples to rent (lower rates may be negotiable at short notice.) Tiree is perfect for numerous activities: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, golf, coastal walking, bird watching, cycling, painting, boating and fishing. Alternatively the house allows for indulgent relaxation whatever the elements throw at you. Broadband access via Wi-Fi hub - bring your own laptop.
