Sunnyside Bed and Breakfast near Loch Lomond is a family run B&B. We love to have families to stay and with a safe and secure rear garden with pleasantly lit patio area you can enjoy the warm Summer evenings and relax. Sunnyside is a deceptively large cottage set in its own grounds. All 6 en-suite rooms have their own style of décor, TV, tea/coffee etc, alarm clock radio, heated towel rail; hair dryer; 110/240v electric shaver points; own toilet/shower room with towels (bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel & face cloth and a selection of soaps, shampoo & shower caps). Breakfast is a range of cooked and lighter fare. Alternatively, your itinerary may dictate that you don't wish breakfast in which case we offer a 15% discount on our B&B rates.
We have our own private car park enough for all our rooms and some to spare. A secure courtyard is available for motorbikes and cycles. Built in 1841 it is one of the oldest buildings in the area and has a B&B history spreading back over 60 years. Our guests find Sunnyside an ideal place to visit Balloch Castle, Loch Lomond, the historic cities of Glasgow, Stirling & Edinburgh and the Trossachs by road or rail. We are also well placed for those who love to ramble. Why not visit Dumbarton the ancient capital of the kingdom of Strath-clyde and Dumbarton Castle sited on a 240 ft high Volcanic plug. This is also a great area for golfers with 11 golf courses within a 30 minute drive.
Our large family room has a video player and a selection of children’s videos and is decorated in a manner to suit families. It has a double bed and two single beds, you won’t find bunk beds, sofa or pull out beds. A cot is available on request.
