Bed and Breakfast in Culbokie near Dingwall & Inverness

As the name suggests, Still Waters is a place of peace and quiet away from the rush and strain of modern life. The house is set in 6 acres of land, including a large wildlife pond, where you can watch our duck families, moorhens, occasionally a heron, or deer or a fox, and numerous birds. There is plenty of room to find a quiet corner to read or just let the peace seep in; or for children to play and hide, or to play football etc. There are wonderful views of Ben Wyvis and the surrounding hills and farmland.

We are just 15 minutes from Inverness and 25 minutes from the airport, which has flights connecting to London and a number of regional airports.

Accommodation consists of one double (which can become a family room with an extra bed or a cot) with en suite shower room; and one twin room with shared bathroom. Both have tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries and hairdryer. The lounge is 'log cabin' style with Douglas Fir cladding and a wood burning stove for those chilly evenings. The large dining area off the kitchen includes a bay window where the sun often streams in during the morning.

The full cooked or continental breakfast includes fresh-baked bread, fresh fruit and home made preserves.  At Still Waters we have a good supply of local information and leaflets.  The lounge has a TV/DVD/Video as well as a supply of games & books.  We also have a children's corner with toys, games, books & videos.  An Iron is available should you require it.
