Bed and Breakfast in Balloch Loch Lomond

A warm welcome to our 3 star guest house.  On your arrival you can, if you choose, have tea or coffee served in the dining room  We are a non smoking establishment and we appreciate your co-operation.  All our rooms are ensuite with shower, are centrally heated and have colour TV, hair drier, tea/coffee making facilities, etc and most overlook Balloch Country Park or our own small but pretty rear garden.    Ironing and laundry facilities are available.

Norwood Guest House sits on the main road in Balloch, a small village on the southern edge of Loch Loch Lomond.  It is straight across the road from Scotland's first national park. There is plenty to see and do - walking, visit Balloch Castle or Dumbarton Castle only four miles away, fishing, boat cruises on Loch Lomond. There are also plenty of golf courses which can be played at  reasonable rates. For the ladies who like to shop, Glasgow is less than thirty minutes away. We have bus and train services that leave every thirty minutes. Stirling Castle is twenty miles from Balloch.  The local area is a treasure chest of scenic, historical and architectural beauty. This will provide a variety of things to do while you tour the area.  

Norwood Guest House is ideal as a base for water-sports waterskiing / jetskiing / fishing / sailing - there is a place to launch your own boat or you can try one of the local cruise companies. There is also walking / birdwatching / cycling / horse riding / pony trekking.

Free off-street car parking is available. Vegetarian diets catered for.
