Bed and Breakfast Pitlochry

Pitlochry is situated in the Tummel Valley, between the River Tummel to the south and the village of Moulin to the north. In turn, Moulin sites at the base of Ben Vrackie (2,757ft / 840m).
Macdonald's Restaurant and Guest house has been in the centre of Pitlochry since 1959. A Victorian building conveniently located for the road and rail links. It is 2 minutes walk from the main bus stop and the railway station. From Pitlochry one can make a return trip to Inverness, Aberdeen, or Edinburgh in a day.

Local attractions include the Festival Theatre with its fully professional company of actors and the Hydro Electric Dam and Fish Ladder are close by as are the shops and other restaurants in the town. Not one but two whisky distilleries are to be found on the outskirts of the town. For golfers your round
of golf can be played on one of the many courses in the area (9 and 18 holes).

The licensed restaurant serves meals, snacks, teas, coffees and, weather permitting, outdoor seating is very popular. The recently refurbished non-smoking Guest House has 10 rooms with tea/coffee making facilities and LCD TVs. Guests have access to the rooms at all times with their own keys. Check in from 2pm..

This popular Guest House and Restaurant has a loyal following. Don't even think about trying to get a room here at the start of the Pitlochry Theatre season; While the rooms are nicely decorated and the hospitality enormous, the best thing about the place is undoubtedly the food.
