Fearnach House Bed and Breakfast sits at the head of Loch Melfort, 15 miles south of Oban.  This mid-19th century former farmhouse in an area of outstanding natural beauty has been extensively refurbished to provide comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation.  We offer one Double (ensuite) with splendid views over Loch Melfort and one Twin Bedroom (with private facilities); full central heating, TV, tea &  coffee making facilities in your room.  In the morning, enjoy a traditional cooked breakfast with a choice of menu in the Dining Room.

The nearest Restaurant and Bar is only 5 minutes walk away and there are numerous other places serving excellent meals within a short drive.

The locality has a rich and varied bird population and teems with wildlife. Seals, otters and porpoise are frequently spotted in the waters of the loch. From the top of the Melfort hills are some of the most breathtaking views over the Sound of Jura, Firth of Lorn and surrounding islands.  The house provides an excellent base for walking, bird watching and water activities; or for touring Scotland's impressive west coast. There are numerous attractions within easy reach, including the popular holiday resort of Oban with its regular ferry services to the islands of Mull, Iona, Lismore, Staffa, Coll, Islay and many others.
