Bed and Breakfast Langholm

Welcome to Bush of Ewes Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, near Langholm, Dumfries and Galloway, in the south west of Scotland. On our 2,000 acre working farm deep in the heart of Border Reiver country we breed Scotland's native sheep, the Blackface and have a herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle. Feel free to walk around and explore the beautiful countryside with its hills, moors and inspiring scenery or relax in our comfortable lounge and just put your feet up after your journey or a days sightseeing.

Bush of Ewes has 2 twin bedrooms (a twin bedroom contains 2 single beds) and 1 double bedroom all with unrivalled open views of the gardens and hills. All the rooms are ensuite, centrally heated and have tea/coffee making facilities.

The farmhouse is set in a large informal garden , with a circular drive and ample private parking. Before you depart you will enjoy an appetising and satisfying breakfast to prepare you for the day ahead. Packed lunches are available on prior request. There is secure storage for bikes and clothes can be dried overnight for walkers. Children are especially welcome as are pets.

The Bush is situated in the unspoilt Ewes Valley close to Langholm with all its attractions - historic and commercial - including a golf course, sports hall and fitness suite and the Buccleuch Centre for a variety of live performances. We are a pleasant drive from many areas of interest including Gretna Green and Gretna Gateway Retail Park, Carlisle, Hawick and the Borders and Solway coast. For the more adventurous, Edinburgh and the Lake District are also accessible. We can also be reached by public transport on the A7 Edinburgh to Carlise Tourist Route Rail link bus.
