Blackhills Estate is a 4000 acre country estate consisting of farms, woodlands and moorland. The cottages are situated in the grounds of Blackhills House at the centre of the Estate and are reached by a half mile of private (tarmac) drive.

The cottages form a secluded group, well away from other habitations but close to each other. They have direct access to Blackhills' Garden which is a magnificent 70 acre woodland garden. The four 3 star cottages are particularly suitable for people who enjoy secluded walks. There is an all weather tennis court in the grounds. Morayshire is famous for its benign (in Scottish terms!) climate. We are well supplied with golf courses. The Moray Firth has unspoilt sandy beaches. Speyside is famous for its distilleries. Riding is also available at Cranloch Riding Centre close by.

The MAINS HOUSE is a traditional two storey farmhouse. Situated close to two other holiday cottages (The White Cottage and The Bungalow) in a group of buildings which includes the Estate workshops. It is close to the tennis court and has direct access to the Woodland Garden.

The Mains House has: upstairs: one double bedroom | one twin bedroom | upstairs bathroom (bath, no shower) | downstairs: one small bedroom with bunk beds | kitchen/dining room | utility room (washer/dryer, dishwasher, freezer) | Living room | enclosed garden.

The luxurious WHITE COTTAGE has a large upstairs room with views to all points of the compass.

The principal bedroom has en-suite facilities. Accommodation comprises:

Living room | Double bedroom with attached shower room | Twin bedroom | Bathroom | Kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, freezer and microwave oven | Large room upstairs, which can be used as a second living room or a further bedroom with two single beds and fold-down double bed.

The GARDEN COTTAGE is our largest house created by linking two cottages. Set in a secluded position with exclusive use of part of Blackhills House garden, it is ideal for use by a group of friends or two families.

It has a large kitchen which is big enough to seat up to ten people.
