Balcarres is situated in a peaceful, elevated location overlooking Loch Linnhe, whilst being within easy reach of all amenities, the town centre is ½ a mile away. Balcarres is tastefully decorated throughout with many rooms commanding excellent views over the Loch. The house is totally non smoking.
Nestling in the shadows of Ben Nevis, Fort William is an excellent base for touring and providing an all year round holiday destination. You can enjoy hill walking, fishing, water sports and golf in all seasons with skiing, snowboarding and ice climbing in the winter.
Breath taking scenery in Fort William and Lochaber provided natural backdrops to the blockbuster films Braveheart and Rob Roy. Guests also enjoy the Jacobite Steam Train that runs from Fort William to Maillaig.
