Ancrum Craig offering 4 star Bed and Breakfast near Jedburgh is a peaceful country home that everyone loves from their first visit. It has all the character of its Victorian past together with all the comforts of today. There are 3 letting rooms - The Blue Room, The Gold Room and Heather Room, each with their own ensuite facilities.

BLUE ROOM - A large south facing room full of character, with grand window facing the garden and valley. King size or twin beds with en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.

GOLD ROOM - A large south facing room with bay window making the most of the views across the garden and valley. King Size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub, shower and WC.

HEATHER ROOM - Pretty room with picturesque view into the courtyard. Standard size double bed and deluxe en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and WC. 

The central part of Ancrum Craig was built in 1722, as a simple farmhouse. The tower and master rooms were added in the late 1800’s. Amongst the outbuildings is a much older dwelling, built against the rock face, whence the name ‘Craig’. We have enjoyed restoring and redecorating our home for the last quarter of a century!

We have a large garden with inviting seats and magnificent views. A welcoming cup of tea is served in the drawing room, with a log fire on cooler days. Guests are welcome to use the lounge at any time. A la carte breakfast is served in the dining room from 8.00am to 8.45am, or by arrangement.

All guest rooms are en-suite with central heating, TV, Hairdryer & Tea/Coffee making tray. We operate a no-smoking policy in all bedrooms and the dining room.
